Evaluating the success of a natural resource program is a key part of management that provides the information to make necessary changes in order to reach specific goals and objectives. Various ways to evaluate program success were explored for this project to determine the best way to represent the management of the Florida Coastal Office (FCO). FCO oversees more than four million acres of valuable submerged lands and coastal uplands protected within forty-one aquatic preserves, three National Estuarine Research Reserves, the Coral Reef Conservation Program, and the Florida Keys National Marine Sanctuary.
