The focus of this project was to look at the response differences of four genotypes of the staghorn coral, A.cervicornis to 1) an increase of temperature from 27ºC to 32ºC, 2) duration of heat stress, and 3) recovery at different temperatures: 29ºC or 27ºC. The objective was to determine the optimal combination of heat stress duration and recovery temperature to stress-harden this sensitive species.
